After taking the shuttle down to stadium parking, while walking across the freezing lot to where Oscar awaited me I saw this little number. She looked so tired, but I envied her just for a moment curled up in her car, snuggly blankets pulled over her. Total relaxation.

This picture sucks. It just doesn't do this patch of nature justice but no matter what angle or position I took I just couldn't capture the surreal effect this place has. Whenever I drive by this, I imagine an exquisite, head over heels madly in love couple playing and cuddling beneath these trees.

Yeah. It's here. It totally snowed in the mountain and there were some flurries as I scuttled around campus today. It was freezing. And oddly humid. Sick.gross.vomit.

So one of my favorite roads in the valley is this amazing strip of maybe.. oh gosh I'm awful at distances.. maybe 5 miles. It's a pretty big road, and yeah I suppose it's pretty residential but man.. I always wanna slam down on that pedal and get up to that 90 mark.

It was an amazing game. We won 5:4. One of our coaches got kicked out for yelling.. something. Several penalties (it was pretty equal on both sides) And a ref got hit in the face with a puck, was down for about 3 minutes and then was a real man and got back to reffing. I've never seen a crowd go as wild as it did that night. It was a close game which made it that much more intoxicating!

Good times. I love my team.

My Political Science professor is the man! We've been watching and analyzing campaign commercials from past and recent elections. For any of you that know me, you understand why I love this. He said something that really cracked me up. He said when it comes to political science you can't think morally about anything. Word Llyons. Word.

So I thought I'd give a brief synopsis of this project for any newcomers. I'm taking a picture a day for a year ( I AM behind, BUT I do have all my photos. It's just a matter of getting the suckers uploaded on to this thing). I photograph what I see. Sometimes it's funny, sometimes things are blurry, some of them are masterpieces-if I do say so myself but yeah! It's been fun and it's helped me become more aware of the world around me and just how much there IS around me.

So I had the opportunity to take care of Autumn this morning. This little girl is absolutely adorable, if not a little sensitive. Every loud noise bothers her (so taking care of her at MY house was probably a bad idea with dogs, birds, my little brother, etc), her mother holds her all the time so she doesn't like to be put on the floor. Just sensitive, but we got her to quiet down and take a much needed nap after getting her belly full. Bah! I can't wait to have one of my own. :D

So. Life is much happier. Lots of changes, lots of phasing, lots of reflecting, lots of figuring things out, lots of taking charge of my life.

I went on a nice little walk today with my beloved canine. Joined at the heart we are (uh..yoda..) and it was absolutely BEAUTIFUL up there

And I'm happy!
