Today was full of creamy, legitimate, sunshine. I honestly snatched a colorful beach blanket and traipsed (more like SPRINTED!) outside to our perfect cement ramp to lay out and absorb the sweet delicious {{Vitamin D}} that I've been deplorably deprived of. Six weeks of winter left, and it simply cannot go quick enough. But with little bouts of heaven like today, I think I'll survive.. I mean, I look pretty content right?

Alright, let me explain this. I've been carrying around my camera all day, waiting for something inspiring to catch my eye, spark my attention, or make my heart leap for joy. And it's not that today hasn't been exciting. Because it has...exciting along with dramatic, confusing, frustrating, and disappointing. All wrapped up into one 14hr day. It's exhausting.

So when I looked at the clock- just now-and realized that it was THIS close to midnight I suddenly felt the weight of ten thousand tons on my back. My insides literally died a little. I'm never up this late.

How's that for ironic?

For a long time I related to the accordian, the sax, I even had a relationship with a harmonica for a time. (yes, I said relationship) In the last 5 years however my ever sincere devotion has been to the {piano}. Was it with Brandy, Rihanna, Gaga, Alicia, Beyonce', Chris, Jennifer, T.I., Akon, Gwen, that I first noticed it?

I'm not really sure till' one day while out pounding the molten asphalt my focus turned to picking apart every harmonious component to which I was sweating to. Piano keys turned up in every single one. I understand it. Thank you Leona.

It's kinda hard to continue my "loath" toward winter when I see something like this.

Today I FINALLY made it one of my lil' sisters swim meets.
She swam the 50 Freestyle, 100 Backstroke, and took part in the relay.
I found myself ~drowning~ in nostalgia. It's been 3 yrs since I've been back to my highschool swimming pool. I saw faces that I haven't seen in a really long time, and caught up with some old times friends that we're there ALSO cheering on siblings.

It's a family thing.
I'm glad Talisa is memorializing it as much as I did.

Behold, my purse and its insides. It actually tells a great deal about me, which is why I decided to exhibit this picture first. Organizer, pen, car keys with club membership card attached, cell phone, wallet with the cash, perfume, lipstick, gloves and isn't it funny that my ipod lies on top. The message: it IS a priority. This goes with me everywhere.
